The #ZicoFifa campaign was the beginning of a great movement of football, a time which the sport suffered from bad managements and scandals.

 

The Football Rebirth is an initiative of Zico to continue and expand this movement, a natural way to further increase the scope of the discussion and participation by everyone who wants to see football being reborn.

 

The project was born from the network to mobilize athletes, fans and intituitions. A big association where all who love football are partners and unite in favor of sport, fight against corruption and are in favor of transparency and participation.

 

The NGO Football Rebirth aims to create forums in the network and beyond, in order to promote discussions about football; create boards of international players to discuss and generate pressure on large institutions towards democracy and transparency for a better sport; promote mobilization activities, online and offline, with the participation of athletes, the private sector and all people who love football and want a change in the sport.

 

We can no longer be locked into federations and leaders that have nothing to do with football. We have to take responsibility.
